Animated Movie Suggestions

I just finished Plague Dogs. That thing was incredible. And even though I told myself I wouldn't, I cried. HHNRGH THAT ENDINGGG.

But anyway, I now have a problem. I'm pretty much out of animated movies to watch. There are some really good ones I've seen, but I don't want to keep rewatched them like I have before (Road to El Dorado's watch count is currently at 32).

So does anyone know any REALLY GOOD animated movies I can use to kill my time? Or even ones with killer soundtracks? Some of the ones I've already seen (and really enjoyed) are:

-Plague Dogs
-Felidae
-Paprika (Parade song is BOSS)
-Tokyo Godfathers
-Spirited Away
-Hunchback of Notre Dame
-Road to El Dorado

That's all I can really think of atm.

So, does anyone out there know anything? Any thanks so much beforehand! :D

HERPDERP. I completely forgot WD. D: I will write that down on my forearm to watch either later today or tomorrow.

Cat Returns! :D I love that thing so much. Very, very nice; it's my second-favorite Miyazaki. And as for TfE, it'll be a few days before I'll be able to do that, but it will be watched! <3

XD Okay, I'm writing all these down. Digimon Movie is a nostalgia trip as well (for my six-year old self, lol). Thank you so much! :D

Hmmm, have you, by chance, seen a certain Triplets of Beleville?

Triplets of Beleville? Nope. Never heard of it.

SHOULD I BE AWARE OF IT

My closet love of the thing is screaming YES YOU SHOULD KNOW. But it's fairly...unknown. And also in French.

In fact, the version I saw has Chinese subtitles, so I never found out what anyone ever said. But there's so little speech it ended up not really mattering anyone.

Basically...it's about this woman and her grandson (I think?). The guy goes to compete in the Tour De France, but gets kidnapped. She then goes to America to rescue to him.

Not only is it just mind-blowingly awesome (and yet so simple), but the animation style is orgasmic. It's like one huge caricature, and yet to fluid that the exaggerations begin to feel natural.

i could talk about this thing for hours. it is incredible.

Seconding The Cat Returns and the Digimon movie.

Have you seen Princess Mononoke and/or Howl's Moving Castle? Probably yes but I will rec them anyway. Also, The Girl Who Leapt Through Time makes me cry every time. It's a comedy though. >_>

And everyone else seems to love Millennium Actress. I just thought it was mediocre, but I think it was directed by the same person who did Tokyo Godfathers.

I REALLY love The Cat Returns, and it's been years since I saw Digimon. So yaaaay nostalgia! :D

I've seen Howl's Moving Castle, though it's been a couple years. And my sensei gave me a ripped copy of The Girl Who Leapt Through Time as well for 'studying' purposes. i did cry, too, hahaha...

D:! Oh wow, I haven't even heard of that one. I'll check it out for sure. :3 Yaaay for more Satoshi Kon mvoies to eat my time yaaaay.

Thank you so much for the suggestions! <3

wandered over from pokemon collectors. The book ending of plague dogs is kind of different. I like animation, so I would say try the other Miyazaki movies I think you would like Nausicaa. Have you ever seen The Last Unicorn? Watership Down? Fantasia? (I love everything after the opening) Ghost in the Shell?

Oh, hello! C:

I heard the book was a bit different, so I've been itching to get my hands on it. Not as dark, I guess....?

Nausicaa! That sounds really interesting!

I've seen Fantasia and the first part of Watership Down, but I've yet to see The Last Unicorn.

Thank you so much for the suggestions! <3

Uh, I think the beginning is a bit darker in print, but the ending is quite different. I think Snitter's condition makes a bit more sense in the book. Please do try the last unicorn. It is still one of my favorites. And it you are open to old anime, see if you can find a subbed Fantasti Adentures of Unico. I think it has one of the creepiest bad guys.
